I live in Wheaton, IL. Being a somewhat close neighbor to Elmhurst, IL, I have visited Elmhurst many times as well as patronized and benefited personally from their many shops and businesses. To me, it has always been a vibrant and friendly family-oriented town.
Families living in Elmhurst benefit from Elmhurst Hospital. It is a top 10 rated hospital in the state. It’s also a teaching hospital so you know you’re going to receive top 10 level treatment!
There is Wilder Park with its art museum along with many other parks. Elmhurst schools are highly rated and have many after school activities for the kids.
Elmhurst, Illinois, is a vibrant and welcoming community that offers an exceptional quality of life for individuals and families alike. Nestled in DuPage County, this charming city seamlessly blends suburban tranquility with urban conveniences, making it an ideal place to call home.
And, I haven’t forgotten the restaurants which range from really cool coffee shops all the way up to locally famous gourmet restaurants. You will have a good dining experience here at any level, I promise.
You can’t talk about Elmhurst without mentioning the York Theater, which is a really cool restored historic building that now has 10 movie theaters inside. The building itself is worth the visit.
Roaming into the residential housing areas you’ll find many nice homes on larger lots with many upscale areas. All in all, just a wonderful, safe, peaceful place to be. Though I’m happy to be in Wheaton, I could easily be just as happy in Elmhurst too.
